...Yes! I'm happy to announce that a new feature-length animated film is already planned after ending the production for THE HEART OF THEM this November (or December or so, depending on the current situation going on around the world).

The next feature-length animated film will be called A KING NO MORE, a remake/re-telling of one of my animated shorts CHILDREN, which you can watch it here. See the concept poster below:

But A KING NO MORE isn't the only project I'll be working on after THE HEART OF THEM but a new short animation MAD CAMEL is already in production since the start of 2020. Though the story for both A KING NO MORE and MAD CAMEL are pretty much done, I will be working on the short one first and that one is expected to be finished by May 2021. The recording sessions will happen soon.

As for A KING NO MORE, we will actually start the production by January 2022 (yeah, I know, it's still a long way to go) and the reason for that is I'm doing something different than what I usually do; the whole animation will be rotoscoped. So in January 2022 (when the world finally calms down from the pandemic), I will start shooting footage of hired model actors (with the clothes they will have to wear) and rotoscope them and also use them as references. They will be shot in 24fps but down to 12fps to 6fps for rotoscope during post-production. The genre for this one is fantasy-horror, pretty much has the darkest story I will ever tell and it'll be very, very controversial.

You can actually listen to the demo soundtrack for A KING NO MORE here. The style of the music I'm going for it a bit different than what I've done for THE HEART OF THEM.

Anyway, that's all I can share on A KING NO MORE but you will know more about MAD CAMEL very soon once I'm done with the recording sessions and some sequences ready.
