    Goodbye Adobe Animate

I am officially done with Adobe Animate as my main tool for creating animation. As a result, the production of the feature-length animated film "THE HEART OF THEM" has been reset as of February 2024. This reset is due to my transition to new animation software. For the past 16 years, Adobe Animate (formerly Flash) has been my primary tool for creating animations. However, it has become challenging to adapt Adobe Animate to modern tools and keep up with its competitors.

Going forward, Adobe Animate will be used primarily for creating animatics and storyboard frames.

I will soon reveal the new software I am adopting. In the meantime, please be patient as I take the necessary time to learn this new tool. I may share samples in the coming months to gather your feedback.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

    Stay tuned.

It seems everybody is happy with your decision.

@FalenDemo5 cuz nobody is happy with animate. (≧▽≦)

i hear adobe animate is hella expensive so i'm thinking about installing an older version of it when i get a pc

I'm so proud of you! I almost completely abandoned Adobe Animate (a pirated copy I'd add cuz Adobe's subscription model is a load of dogshit) when Krita 5.2 got the audio issue fixed. Nowadays I only use it sporadically for vector typography tasks. Oh, and for vector motion tween stuff, I use the good old trusty Macromedia Flash 8.

while i have no experience with adobe animate(cuz i don´t have it) i heard from mutiple people that it´s not really doing well, so i hope that whatever software you adopted works perfectly for you.

    All the best mate!

I use Animate, though I believe that we do not chose our tools, our tools choose us.

I'll be waiting to know what you'll be using :)

You're not alone. I've been with adobe for years as well and coming to a point where I will be transition to Blender and Clip Studio Paint. May still work with some Adobe stuff but if it comes to a point where Blender and Clip Studio does the same then I just saved a few gigs on drive and good bye Adobe.
