I'm pleased to finally announce that my latest short film (or 'feature' if in USA), GIRL & IT, to screen at this year's 10th Dubai International Film Festival as World Premiere. My recent short film, CHILDREN (2011), was at DIFF two years ago as World Premiere and also won Special Jury Prize. To be honest with you all, I don't consider CHILDREN to have proper storyline, just more of an experimental, but still, I'm glad that a lot Newgrounds members here enjoyed and also got the movie to the front page.

The total length for GIRL & IT is 40 minutes. Though the original format of the movie is 2K, it will still be converted to 1080p with letterbox for film festivals. You can also check out GIRL & IT's latest premiere trailer here: http://youtu.be/C3RoMZ4IwcQ

Hi,

GIRL & IT now finally has an IMDB page (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3304900/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1). I had an IMDB page since my first short film, MAD CAMEL (2011), but the annoying thing is when updating anything, it will take days for the IMDB team to review them before updating whatever I changed.

Hi!

Hope all of you are well and healthy! GIRL & IT is ready for film festivals! So far I have done 5 private screenings for it and audiences were really surprised by how much I have improved with my animation and storytelling skills. Though I won't say anything about the story, because y'know...spoilers. So far I have received very few negative feedback and mostly positive from invited audiences on the film's narrative, animation, original scores and how everything else are executed.

Anyway, though I am happy to enroll this movie to film festivals around the world, that also makes me sad, not too little or big. It is because during the film's adventure to film festivals, I CANNOT share it here or anywhere else like Youtube, Vimeo, ect, for three years. I know it sucks, but unfortunately that is the rule. But hey, if GIRL & IT is going to be showcased to any film festivals near you, be sure to NOT miss it!

GIRL & IT, a project I started back in 2009 but left it deserted until December 2012, is now completed! Not 100%, at least as 'work-in-progress' This short film is 37 minutes long, and it will go public in the next two years here, Youtube, and Vemio. Why? Because during these two years the film will go to film festivals around the world. I will also aim for film festivals in America for the first time.

Hi!

So I've been getting some personal messages from people asking me what is the actual genre for my upcoming short animated film, GIRL & IT. Let me give you an idea what to expect from GIRL & IT, the main theme of this short film is dilemma (which I will not give any details...ever! It'll ruin if I'll reveal it). The movie will focus a lot on adventure, drama and romantic. There are very few humorous moments for audiences to laugh or chuckle but that's just about it.

I guess you can say the main genre for GIRL & IT is adventure-romantic-drama...

Adobe has finally fixed the brush issue for Flash Professional CC when working with Wacom Cintiq 21UX and 13HD! Now it makes my work easier than when I first started my Creative Cloud.
